Hickory Hills Police recently completed rapid response training at Glen Oaks School. This training is designed to prepare police and school personnel on how to effectively respond to an active school shooting situation. The Hickory Hills Police participate in these types of training scenarios on an annual basis by alternating the school location to other schools within the North Palos 117 School District. Preparedness is the key to the effective deployment of personnel in these types of situations.
