Hickory Hills Mayor Michael Howley and Police Chief Alan Vodicka were recently presented with a plaque of appreciation from Moraine Valley Community College. This plaque recognizes the Police Department for mentoring future young law enforcement professionals who have benefited from the guidance of the criminal justice internship program. The police department has served as an internship sight for the Moraine Valley Community College Internship Program for over twenty five years.
